Objective:
Narrative objectives1 - This study aims to evaluate changes in nursing students' attitudes toward substance use disorders (SUDs) after viewing an educational video featuring people with lived experience of SUDs. Attitudes will be measured before and after the intervention. Educational effects will be compared across three groups: video viewing, a live lecture delivered by people with lived experience of SUDs, and a general knowledge dissemination group. Effectiveness will be assessed by changes in stigma toward SUDs.
Basic objectives2 - Efficacy
Intervention:
Interventions/Control_1 - Video group (lived experience): Participants viewed a 30-minute video in which individuals with substance use disorders (SUDs) responded to interview questions.
Interventions/Control_2 - Live lecture group (lived experience): Participants attended a 30-minute live lecture, delivered by the same individuals as in the video group, in which they responded to interview questions.
