Objective:
Narrative objectives1 - To elucidate the acute effects of hypoxic exposure on skeletal muscle microvascular function, thereby contributing to understanding the impact of hypoxic exposure on vascular function in modern society.
Basic objectives2 - Safety,Efficacy
Intervention:
Interventions/Control_1 - Attach a mask to a balloon filled with air containing 15% oxygen concentration and inhale the air from the balloon for 10 minutes.
Interventions/Control_2 - Do not connect to the balloon; inhale room air for 10 minutes.
Eligibility:
Age-lower limit - 18
years-old
Gender - Male and Female
Key inclusion criteria - Participants must be between 18 and 30 years of age at the time consent is obtained.
Participants must have received a thorough explanation regarding this research and provided written consent of their own free will after demonstrating sufficient understanding.
Key exclusion criteria - Individuals aged 31 years or older
Individuals with a history of cardiovascular disease or currently receiving medication for such conditions
Individuals currently taking medication or supplements
Individuals with a regular exercise routine (performing at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic exercise or 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity aerobic exercise per week)
Individuals with a history of smoking
Other individuals deemed unsuitable for the study by the principal investigator
