Narrative objectives1 - The purpose of this study is to obtain accurate measurements of exposure to gambling-related advertisements on smartphones, to identify differences in exposure to such advertisements according to factors including gambling severity, and to examine the association between advertising exposure and gambling behavior.

Participants who use Facebook, Instagram, X, or YouTube at least once per week
Participants who have engaged in gambling within the past year
Participants who agree to install and use an SNS launcher application developed for the study
Key exclusion criteria - Participants who subscribe to paid premium plans for X or YouTube that prevent advertisements from being displayed
Participants who have not engaged in gambling within the past year
