Objective:
Narrative objectives1 - To evaluate the recurrence rate and treatment responsiveness in patients with embolic stroke of undetermined source (ESUS) based on their clinical background and risk factors. In addition, the safety of percutaneous patent foramen ovale (PFO) closure will be evaluated in patients with PFO.

Key inclusion criteria - 1. Patients who experienced an ischemic stroke between January 2021 and April 2025 and visited or were admitted to the participating institution.
2. Patients diagnosed with embolic stroke of undetermined source.
