Eligibility: Age-lower limit - 18 years-old = Gender - Male and Female Key inclusion criteria - The inclusion criteria were studies involving adult hospitalised patients with frailty. Only original research articles were included. No restriction was placed on the year of publication, and studies published in Japanese or English were eligible. Eligible studies were required to report clinical outcomes such as patients' quality of life (QOL), changes in the number of prescribed medications, discontinuation rates of potentially unnecessary medications, and the incidence of adverse events. Key exclusion criteria - The exclusion criteria were review articles and studies that did not involve adult patients.
