Objective:
Narrative objectives1 - This study conducts a randomized controlled trial (RCT)to examine whether administering the Implicit Association Test (IAT) -which visualizes individuals' unconscious attitudes and feelings (biases) toward concepts such as gender and authority -prior to human resource development training can enhance the effectiveness of the training.
In Japan, where labor shortages are a pressing issue, not only large corporations but also small and medium-sized enterprises and nonprofit organizations are increasingly required to strengthen their human resource development efforts. For organizations that cannot afford substantial investment in training, improving the effectiveness of each program contributes to more sustainable investment in people, making this research socially impactful.
Beyond the organizational benefits, the most significant value lies in helping participants maintain a state in which they can continue to work with vitality and well-being, both mentally and physically.
