Objective:
Narrative objectives1 - The purpose of this study is to provide an online imaging anatomy reference tool (hereafter, the imaging anatomy app) as a supplementary learning resource for fifth-year medical students at Tohoku University School of Medicine in the 2026 academic year during their clinical clerkship, and to investigate the association between app usage and scores on a midterm examination modeled on the graduation examination, monthly imaging anatomy test scores, and self-assessment regarding diagnostic imaging.

Interventions/Control_1 - Participants will be given free access to an online imaging anatomy reference tool.

Key inclusion criteria - Fifth-year medical students at Tohoku University School of Medicine who are undergoing clinical clerkship
Key exclusion criteria - Subjects who meet any of the following criteria will be excluded from the study:
Those who are on a leave of absence or are expected to have prolonged absences, and whom the principal investigator or sub-investigator judges to be unable to complete continuous follow-up during the study period.
Those who are concurrently participating in a similar educational intervention study related to imaging anatomy learning and are judged likely to interfere with the intervention or outcome assessment of this study.
Those whom the principal investigator judges may experience an excessive burden from participation in this study because of academic, health-related, or other reasons.
Those whom the principal investigator judges to be otherwise inappropriate for participation in this study.
