Objective:
Narrative objectives1 - The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of an 8-week self-talk training program on baseball self-efficacy and psychological competitive ability in junior high school baseball players.
Basic objectives2 - Efficacy
Intervention:
Interventions/Control_1 - Participants will receive an 8-week psychological skills training program focused on self-talk.
The intervention will include education about self-talk, development of cognitive, emotional, and motivational self-talk skills, and application of these skills to baseball situations.
Participants will complete worksheets and practical assignments between sessions to facilitate the use of self-talk during training and competition.

Key inclusion criteria - Members of the target junior high school baseball team
Written informed consent obtained from both participants and their legal guardians
Able to participate throughout the intervention period
Key exclusion criteria - Individuals expected to be absent for an extended period during the intervention
