Objective: Narrative objectives1 - To clarify changes in serum APRIL levels before and after Epipharyngeal Abrasive Therapy (EAT) in patients with IgA nephropathy. Basic objectives2 - Others

Eligibility: Age-lower limit - 15 years-old = Gender - Male and Female Key inclusion criteria - Patients aged 18 years or older

Diagnosed with chronic epipharyngitis and undergoing EAT as part of routine clinical care

Patients with active IgA nephropathy, remission-phase IgA nephropathy, or non-renal disease controls

Able to undergo blood tests, urinalysis, and endoscopic evaluation at baseline and after 12 EAT sessions

Provided written informed consent for study participation Key exclusion criteria - Patients with acute inflammatory diseases such as acute epipharyngitis, acute sinusitis, or acute tonsillitis

Patients unable to undergo scheduled blood tests, urinalysis, or endoscopic evaluation

Patients for whom EAT is medically inappropriate (e.g., severe gag reflex, bleeding tendency)

Patients with severe systemic diseases (e.g., heart failure, liver failure, malignancy) that may interfere with study participation

Pregnant women or those with possible pregnancy

Any patient deemed unsuitable for participation by the principal investigator Target Size - 40
