Objective: Narrative objectives1 - This study aims to investigate the effects of music on the ratings of perceived exertion during exercise in university students with depressive symptoms Basic objectives2 - Efficacy

Intervention: Interventions/Control_1 - During the exercise stress test, a single track personally selected by each participant to increase exercise motivation was automatically played on loop via headphones. Song selection was conducted after obtaining informed consent. The music playback started simultaneously with the commencement of the test and was stopped after a 5-minute recovery phase. Interventions/Control_2 - The exercise stress test was conducted while wearing headphones, but without music playback.

Eligibility: Age-lower limit - 18 years-old = Gender - Female Key inclusion criteria - Aged between 18 and 40 years. No underlying diseases requiring current medical treatment. Able to understand the study and provide consent. Key exclusion criteria - Inability to perform the exercise stress test due to limited range of motion, pain, or internal medical conditions. Possibility of pregnancy.Resting blood pressure measured in a sitting position prior to obtaining consent that meets the criteria for hypertension (systolic blood pressure >=140 mmHg or diastolic blood pressure >=90 mmHg). Presence of subjective symptoms at rest, such as shortness of breath, chest pain, or general malaise. Currently receiving treatment for depressive symptoms. Individuals deemed unsuitable for participation by the principal investigator. Target Size - 40
