Key inclusion criteria - 1. Patients diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis at Juntendo University Hospital between April 1, 2009 and December 31, 2025, for whom archived lung tissue specimens are available
2. Patients whose archived lung tissue specimens and clinical information are available for research use
Key exclusion criteria - 1.Patients judged by the principal investigator to be inappropriate for inclusion in the study
2.Patients who have expressed refusal to participate in the study (opt-out)
