Objective:
Narrative objectives1 - To investigate the immediate effects of a verbal motor instruction to raise the elbow during pitching on the kinematic parameters of the shoulder, elbow, trunk, and pelvis at maximum shoulder external rotation during the late cocking phase of pitching in junior high school male baseball players, using motion sensors, high speed cameras, and a speed gun.
Basic objectives2 - Efficacy
Intervention:
Interventions/Control_1 - Participants will perform maximal effort pitches after receiving a verbal motor instruction to raise the elbow during pitching.
Interventions/Control_2 - Participants perform maximal-effort pitching as usual without any verbal instruction.

Key inclusion criteria - Male baseball players enrolled in junior high school whose parents or legal guardians provided informed consent for participation in the study. Participants must be right-handed pitchers and judged by the principal investigator to be able to participate in pitching motion measurements.
Key exclusion criteria - 1. Participants who have pain in the shoulder, elbow, upper extremity, or lower back at the time of study participation.
2. Participants who have received medical treatment for throwing-related injuries within the past 3 months.
3. Participants who have orthopedic diseases or a history of surgery that may affect pitching motion.
4. Participants who have difficulty understanding the study procedures or performing the prescribed pitching tasks.
