Objective: Narrative objectives1 - To clarify the association between self-compassion and coparenting among first-time parents from pregnancy through the early parenting period, as well as their changes over time. Basic objectives2 - Others

Eligibility: Age-lower limit - 18 years-old <= Age-upper limit - Not applicable Gender - Male and Female Key inclusion criteria - Parents (as a pair) who meet all of the following conditions:

(1) A mother who is giving birth to her first child and starting child-rearing, and a father who will share in child-rearing. (2) At the time of application, the mother is less than 26 weeks pregnant. (3) Able to read and write in Japanese. Key exclusion criteria - Currently living with another child who is biologically related to themselves. Either the participant or their partner is currently receiving outpatient care at a psychiatric or psychosomatic clinic. Target Size - 200
