Narrative objectives1 - The purpose of this study is to clarify, through a randomized controlled trial, the effect of utilizing a smartphone app employing gamification features on improving dietary behavior change among university students who are indifferent to health management.
Basic objectives2 - Efficacy
Intervention:
Interventions/Control_1 - Use a smartphone application with gamification features to self-manage meals and step counts.
Interventions/Control_2 - Do not use smartphone apps for self-management.
Eligibility:
Age-lower limit - 18
years-old

Gender - Male and Female
Key inclusion criteria - Individuals in the precontemplation stage of behavior change
Individuals who do not routinely use meal or health management apps
Individuals who routinely use a smartphone (iPhone iOS 15.0 or later, or Android 11.0 or later)
Key exclusion criteria - Individuals receiving nutritional dietary guidance from physicians or registered dietitians are excluded.
