TOKYO, Sept. 24 -- JASDF issued the following news:
On 22 September, General MORITA Takehiro, Chief of Staff, Koku-Jieitai and Air
Marshal Allan Marshall OBE RAF, Air and Space Commander, Royal Air Force visited RAF Coningsby and met personnel from both nations. Both leaderships also
announced the statement. Additionally, the Koku-Jieitai's 201st Fighter Squadron
and the RAF No. 3 Squadron engaged in a sister squadron exchange.
Both leaderships also welcomed their engagement between the air services right
after the UK-Japan Defense Ministerial Meeting in August. Koku-Jieitai will further
deepen the cooperation with RAF under the recognition that the security of EuroAtlantic and of the Indo-Pacific are inseparable and interconnected.
