TOKYO, Sept. 16 -- JASDF issued the following news:
The Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF), together with the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF), conducted bilateral training with the U.S. Forces (USF) to enhance the rescue response capabilities of the Japan-U.S. Alliance. The details are as follows:
1. Purpose To strengthen rescue response capabilities and tactical skills through cooperation between the JMSDF and the JASDF, as well as to enhance the Japan-U.S. bilateral response capabilities.
2. Dates Sep 2 - Sep 12, 2025
3. Location The sea and airspace around Iwakuni, the Bungo Channel, and south of Shikoku
