TOKYO, Oct. 10 -- Japan Patent Office issued the following press release:
Japan Patent Office (JPO) Commissioner KASAI and Deputy Commissioner YASUDA held a bilateral meeting with Mr. Daren Tang, Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) , on October 3, 2025.
During the bilateral meeting, they shared a common understanding regarding future cooperation between the JPO and WIPO to further promote the initiatives of WIPO GREEN.
On the following day, October 4, 2025, an exchange of views was held between Mr. Daren Tang and Mr. YAMAMOTO, the Japan Ambassador of WIPO GREEN, in the presence of Commissioner KASAI, regarding the future direction of collaboration and cooperation on WIPO GREEN between Japanese industrial sector and WIPO.
