JPO PARTICIPATED IN THE 29TH ANNIVERSARY SYMPOSIUM OF THE CENTRAL INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND INTERNATIONAL TRADE COURT AND THE 30TH ANNIVERSARY EVENT OF JETRO BANGKOK IP DEPARTMENT, AND HELD A BILATERAL MEETING WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY OF THAILAND.

TOKYO, July 4 -- Japan Patent Office issued the following news:

On Thursday, June 25, Deputy Commissioner YASUDA Futoshi of the JPO participated in the 29th Anniversary Symposium of the Central Intellectual Property and International Trade Court (CIPITC) in Bangkok, Thailand. The following day, Friday, June 26, he also attended the 30th Anniversary Event of JETRO Bangkok's IP Department, where he delivered a keynote speech on cooperation between Japan and Thailand in the field of intellectual property at both events.

On the same day, Deputy Commissioner YASUDA held a bilateral meeting with Mrs. Auramon, Director General of the Department of Intellectual Property (DIP) of Thailand, exchanging views on future cooperation between the two offices, including training programs on patent examination practices.

The JPO will continue to further promote cooperation with Thailand in the field of intellectual property.
