As the security environment surrounding Japan becomes increasingly severe, Japan Self Defense Force (JSDF) conducted a tactical exercise amid to demonstrate Japan's strong will not to tolerate unilateral changes to the status quo by force and to enhance regional deterrence and maintain and improve its mission capabilities.
