TOKYO, July 21 -- Japan Patent Office issued the following news:

Commissioner KASAI and Deputy Commissioner YASUDA met with IP offices and other related parties from over 20 countries and regions*1 as part of their participation in the 68th Series of Meetings of the Assemblies of the Member States of WIPO held in Geneva, Switzerland. The JPO confirmed its continued cooperation on intellectual property administration with each office and exchanged information on the latest initiatives. The JPO also signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the OEPM (Spain) on cooperation in the field of intellectual property.
